Traffic Light at Corner of Seeley Street and Prospect Park Southwest – Windsor Terrace 4.12/5 (58)

Install a traffic light at the corner of Seeley Street and Prospect Park Southwest plus changing Seeley into a one-way street. Seeley Street is a very narrow road that allows parking on both sides. Currently, there is a stop sign and cars have to drive onto the pedestrian crossing to be able to see oncoming traffic. It is a blind corner and very dangerous for vehicles and pedestrians.

  1. It is imperative to make these changes to Windsor Terrace streets. With a growing population of children, these streets must become safer. Long time residents of all ages are impacted by improper street design. Pedestrian and vehicle safety must be paramount.

  2. I agree very much with the need for a traffic light at Seeley and PPSW. However, the two way status should remain as it a portal to MacDonald Ave and other neighborhoods in our area. The point of a traffic light makes the two way scenario safer. A one-way allows for increased speed while a two way direct hampers speed. Also PPSW will be further choked with more traffic if a one-way on Seeley is established. We also need a stop sign at 18th street and Seeley at the the turn up to expressway.
