Capital Accountability (SCA) 3.67/5 (3)

Hold School Construction Authority accountable for:
1) neighborhood communication of their capital improvement projects
2) timeliness of project (tight deadlines)

Please refer to MS 51 for prime example of blight on neighborhood due to scaffolding going up over 1 year ago with; no reason stated or posted; no work besides sidewalk scaffold bridge installation conducted; no discernible schedule for start / completion; disregard to impact on students and area (people living under it). SCA needs to have transparency and community engagement for their capital improvement projects (similar to MTA).
