The residents and park goers of both new St Marys playgrounds need privacy, noise cancellation and mosquito remediation. A fence that accomodates all three needs and sets a precedent for cost efficient ways to address high decibel sound reduction has already been scoped and priced. A wall covered in a boxwood type green (reducing mosquitos and adding privacy) that has a sound panel at its core was scope and is ready to be installed pending funding and approval. Those that live directly behind both parks lost all privacy and peace of mind when the parks reopened. Those in the park deal with mosquitos that are mostly coming from the ivy and unkept green space along the fence line. This solution addresses all party’s needs.
