Horse trail path from Prospect Park Stables to Machete Circle 3.67/5 (3)

There is not a proper path for horses to trot from the Prospect Park Stables to the designated horse lane at Machete Circle, before ultimately entering Prospect Park at the Southwest entrance. Instead, the horses currently use the sidewalk or bike lane which congests the area and will often leave a trail of horse droppings. There is an unused dirt path along Ocean Parkway service road between East 8th Street and Machete Circle that can be developed into a proper horse mounting and walking trail. The stables are an amazing amenity we are fortunate to have in our district and this project would help improve horse riding infrastructure in Brooklyn.
