Backup Internet Connections to Public Schools using NYC Mesh 3.25/5 (2)

Connections to teachers at school teaching remotely are spotty if all internet capacity is maxed out or the ISP has problems. A second redundant connection to a different ISP would provide additional and more reliable bandwidth. Non-profit NYC Mesh (nycmesh.net) can be an affordable option. Most public schools in District 39 are the tallest buildings in the neighborhood and have line of sight to NYC Mesh’s Superhubs. Once installed, schools can also serve as local NYC Mesh hubs to provide Internet access to students in the immediate area.
